About

Camp facilitator, Early Childhood Development practitioner and youth mentor.

01 In her own words

I am Lerato Masuluke, a camp facilitator, Early Childhood Development practitioner, youth mentor, and passionate advocate for children's growth and potential.

I create safe, engaging, and empowering experiences where children and young people can build confidence, develop leadership skills, work as a team, and discover their own strength.

From Sunday School teaching to facilitating real outdoor bush camps, including an international camp experience in Mozambique, my journey has been shaped by a deep love for working with children and helping them become the best version of themselves.

Through adventure, teamwork, practical learning, reflection, and encouragement, I help young people grow in courage, resilience, responsibility, and self-belief.

02 Her story

Lerato's love for working with children began with a desire to serve as a Sunday School teacher. What started as a calling to teach, guide, and care for children grew into a deeper passion for youth development, mentorship, and facilitation.

Through working with children at different levels, including school-age learners and tertiary-level participants, she has developed a strong understanding of the importance of patience, communication, encouragement, structure, and inclusion. She enjoys helping young people feel heard, supported, and capable of achieving more than they may believe is possible.

As a dedicated young woman of faith, Lerato brings compassion, integrity, prayerfulness, and a sense of purpose into her work. Her faith shapes the way she leads: with kindness, responsibility, courage, and a sincere desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

03 What she is part of

Lerato is a young co-owner of The Robeli Group, a growing business group focused on technology, digital innovation, creative projects, and online services.

Her five parts in every hundred are written into her mother's promise on this site: they become hers on the day The Robeli Group is registered as a company that holds shares.

As part of The Robeli Group, Lerato is learning about business, technology, branding, and how digital platforms can create opportunities for people and communities. She will also be one of the friendly faces of the group, helping to share its journey, represent its values, and grow alongside the businesses as they develop.

This role is an exciting opportunity for Lerato to build confidence, gain new skills, meet different people, and explore interests beyond her work in children's development and camp facilitation. It also reflects her belief in dreaming big, learning continuously, and being open to new opportunities.

04 How she works

Lerato believes that children learn best when they feel safe, included, encouraged, and challenged. Her facilitation approach combines structure with fun, learning with adventure, and discipline with compassion.

She strives to create environments where children can:

Whether she is leading a group through a team-building activity, guiding a child through a difficult moment, facilitating a bush-camp challenge, or supporting a learner's personal development, Lerato brings warmth, enthusiasm, patience, and purpose.

05 What she is reaching for

Lerato is a young woman with big dreams and a strong desire to keep learning, growing, and making an impact. Alongside her commitment to youth development and education, she aspires to become a pilot and, one day, to go to the moon.

This ambition reflects the way she approaches life: with faith, courage, curiosity, and the belief that there is always more to discover. She wants to inspire children and young people to dream boldly, work hard, and understand that their background or current circumstances do not have to limit their future.

Believe in yourself, keep learning, be brave enough to try, and never stop reaching for your dreams.

06 The name

Her mother wrote this about why she chose it:

I named her Lerato, meaning love, because during one of the hardest seasons of my life, the love of the little girl growing inside me was the strength that kept me going.

07 Where she is from

She is from Pretoria, South Africa.
